At a prayer meeting for our mother, we were inspired to create a line of clothing that would encourage people to pray

In Need Of Solace
Our lives were turned upside down when the doctors diagnosed our mother with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 1999. After six months of chemotherapy and radiation treatments, the doctors gave Mom a clean bill of health. The following summer, we were devastated to learn the cancer had returned. It was a dark hour.

Pray Faithfully
We reached out to our Pastor for guidance. The Pastor and his wife, along with our family and friends gathered together to pray for God’s healing hand over our mother. As we prepared to pray, the Pastor’s wife struggled to gather up her skirt as she knelt down.  From the floor, she looked up and said “I wish someone would invent some kind of prayer wear.” She of course meant some type of comfortable clothing; however, we heard an opportunity to share the power of prayer with others. Her casual remark moved us to develop PrayerWare--products offering comfort, style and inspirational messages that will encourage people to pray.

God Answers Prayer
Skilled doctors, the support of family and friends and God’s unwavering love successfully carried our mother through a stem cell transplant. Two years after the initial diagnosis, our mother’s health had been renewed and our faith strengthened. We had been inspired to share the power of prayer with others.
